University of Bedfordshire

The University of Bedfordshire is one of the UK's newest members of the university club, being officially formed in 2006 out of the University of Luton and the Bedford Campus of De Montfort University.

As a result of this merger, the university is made up of campuses in Luton and Bedford, both of which are located near the city centres and railway stations (Luton being 20 mins north of London and Bedford half an hour north of London).

The university feels young and cosmopolitan, with a range of students from a variety of backgrounds. Due to its youth, the University of Bedfordshire has not yet had time to acquire any notable alumni.
